GA Europe received the mandate from the leading Household retailer in Belgian to closure of 62 non-performing stores

• GA Europe was selected out of a competitive tender process to close the 62 non performing stores by providing a minimum guarantee on the returns.
• The store closure programme was divided into seven phases over 5 months.
• Due to the geographical spread and the different  store closure phases around Belgium (French and Dutch speaking areas) our BENELUX  based consulting team was deployed.
• The increased workload due to the dispatch of the out-of-season stock led to bottlenecks in the staffing within the ongoing stores. GA Europe supported the Belgian retailer in staffing the ongoing stores  and thus ensured the smooth operations in the ongoing stores.
• GA Europe`s retail operational expertise had an immediate and significant impact upon the chain's trading performance, increasing like-for-like sales by up to 200%.
• The management  of the Belgian household retailer commented on the excellent practice of working with the GA Europe team from store level to and senior management.
